1 Overview
This event is run by dgeneratio
Updating Results:
- Everyone
* Please ONLY update the scores and runs as i am trusting you guys.
Any questions or grievances should be directed to dgeneratio in offline messages.
League hosts reserve the right to, at any time, make any exception or alteration to the rules they deem necessary, but normally rules will never be changed during seasons.
Suggestions for rule changes for future seasons may be posted on the Carom Premier League forum or sent to the league hosts directly - input and opinions are encouraged!
2 Premier League Rules
2.1 Game Types and Frames
Because this is a League you will play everyone once and you will get points for winning two frames or more.
Game Type: Carom
Frames: 4
You will play two games a fortnight (unless the numbers is low) then whoever tops that league will be Shield Winners.
2.2 How do we do Scoring?
- Player who wins 3-1 or 4-0 will receive 2 points
- Player who draws 2-2 will both receive 1 point
- Player who loses 3-1 or more will receive 0 points
2.3 How do we Separate Ties?
Play All frames in the main competition as if two players are tied on the table it will be decided by Frame Difference then Head to Head against that player. Should this not separate the players they will play a "Best of 5" where the first player who reaches three frames will go above in the table.
2.4 Time Limit
Any Time limit can be used if agreed by the players (in case of dispute please use 20 seconds).
3 Premier League Finals
3.1 Game Length
After the Premier League is completed the Finals will be drawn in order of merit on the League Table
3.2 What are frames in the Final?
Each game will be a "Best of 9" Final therefore the first player to reach five frames will be declared the winner.
3.3 How are matches formed?
Each game is treated like a Final so Player who is ranked first will play the second ranking, third will play fourth and so on

3.4 Entry Numbers Odd?
The Loser of the division above will face the person who finished in last place in the Premier League
4 Cup
4.1 What is the Cup?
Cup is a fun sideline competition where players are not seeded for quick time limits.
4.2 Time Limit
Time limit must be 10 seconds per shot
4.3 Frames
Rounds will be "Best of 5" with the player to win three frames advancing to Quarter Finals
Quarter Finals will be "Best of 7" with the player to win four frames advancing to Semi Finals
Semi Finals will be "Best of 9" with the player to win five frames advancing to the Finals
Finals will be "Best of 11" with the player to win six frames being declared the Champion
5 Domination
5.1 What is Domination?
This is similar to "Champion of Champions" where the Top 4 players of Premier League will go head to head in a knockout competition with slightly longer frames.
5.2 How does the Draw Work?
The Rounds are seeded so the #1 Ranked would play #4 and #2 would play #3 for place in the final.
This means in Semi Finals adam_147 would play mich and etarvt would play budweiser for a place in Domination Final
The losers would battle in a Third Place playoff for right to be named in the History Books
5.3 What are Frames?
Semi Finals will be "Best of 7" with the player to win four frames going through to the Final
Third Playoff will be "Best of 9" with the player to win five frames being declared Third Position
The Final will be "Best of 15" with the player to win eight frames being declared the Champion
5.4 What does Winning Domination give me?
Winning gives you a plaque in the History Books however gives you a little satisfaction that you can say you beat the best players in the competition
6 Clash of Might

6.1 What is COM?
This is a ladder event which is based from clooney event, you win and you move up a level, you lose you drop a level
6.2 How does the Draw Work?
This is based on rankings from the previous season and higher you are better level it is.

- The winning players from the previous round play a player above them

6.3 What are Frames?
Play a First to Three however you must be two frames ahead so play until someone reaches 3-0, 3-1, 4-2, 5-3 etc.
6.4 What does Winning Clash give me?
The top three are announced to be named in the History Books. This means if your in Level One by Fixture Eight then you will get a mention no matter what but winning gives you First and losing gives you Second. If your in Tier Two you must win your game in order to achieve Third. Everything else is irrelevant.
7 Arena
7.1 What is Arena?
Arena is the first ever computer generated tournament in funky's history!
7.2 How does the Draw Work?
Draws are based on a Random Number Generator and you are placed depending on what number you receive, 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, All the way until all 16 numbers are filled
7.3 How does the Scoring Work?
When the Round is manually started the first player gets a random number between zero and three while the second player works out the calculation to make three.
For example: Dgeneratio vs Mich is drawn out of a hat, the random generator picks zero for Dgen so it knows it needs three frames to make equal three frames so Mich would get three making it 0-3.
7.4 What does Winning Arena give me?
Winning gives you a plaque in the History Books however gives you a little satisfaction that you can say you won a competition generated by a Computer
8 War
8.1 What is War?
Arena is the second ever computer generated tournament in funky's history!
8.2 How does the Draw Work?
Draws are based on a Random Number Generator and you are placed depending on what number you receive, 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, All the way until all 16 numbers are filled.
8.3 How does the Scoring Work?
This is based on Odds, the higher the Rank Difference on the League Table, the better your chances!
Rank Difference of 1:- Lower Ranking has 55% chance, Higher Ranking has 45% chance
Rank Difference of 2:- Lower Ranking has 60% chance, Higher Ranking has 40% chance
Rank Difference of 3:- Lower Ranking has 65% chance, Higher Ranking has 35% chance
Rank Difference of 4:- Lower Ranking has 70% chance, Higher Ranking has 30% chance
Rank Difference of 5:- Lower Ranking has 75% chance, Higher Ranking has 25% chance
Rank Difference of 6:- Lower Ranking has 80% chance, Higher Ranking has 20% chance
Rank Difference of 7+:- Lower Ranking has 90% chance, Higher Ranking has 10% chance
The Random Generator picks a number between 1-20 and from the chart above, if A is chosen, Player A wins the frame, If B then it is Player B. It picks three numbers to represent three frames. First to two advances however all three are played.

9 Ranking System
9.1 Definition
Each event you play will earn you points, better you do in each event the more points you will earn.
More entries that play, more points will be on offer, each player entered is 100,000 points on the main Premier League minus one player.
9.2 Penalties
If the Runner feels you haven't played enough games or made much effort then your ranking in that event could be cut by 25%, 50% or even lose all ranking if you don't play a game.

Premier League: (100,000 x Players)
1st: 40% of the base points
2nd: 20% of the base points
3rd: 15% of the base points
4th: 10% of the base points
5th-8th: 5% of the base points
9th-12th: 2% of the base points
13th-16th: 1% of the base points
League Cup: (55,000 x Players)
1st: 40% of the base points
2nd: 20% of the base points
3rd-4th: 10% of the base points

10 Withdrawing
10.1 Withdrawing
When a player withdraws or is removed from the league during the season, they will forfeit their results and become bottom of the table. Doing this may result in a one season's suspension except under circumstances which the runner is happy with.
Attempting to get round this by a new account may mean exclusion permanently unless the runner is satisfied the player has good reason to switch accounts.
If a player is excluded this way they cannot enter future competitions unless the runner is satisfied the player has changed.
11 Defaults
11.1 Definition
A partially played game is a game in which at least one frame is completed, but fewer than the complete game format.
11.2 Scoring
The Scoring will be based on Snooker's Clan League where it will be based on effort and then activity
11.3 Giving No Information?
If the runners receive no information then that player will get zero frames or points at default therefore giving the automatic win to the opponent
If it is a Knockout competition and both players fail to send info it is up to the runner who they believe should go through.
11.4 Aborted Games
In the case where a player has to abort the game (for whatever reason), both players are equally expected to maintain efforts to get the remaining part of the game played by the deadline.
11.5 Number of Defaults
If a player has too many defaults (three at fault), they will get a warning any further defaults may see that player being sanctioned by a suspension of one season (see Withdraw).
12 ToS
12.1 Definition
By playing in the leagues you abide by these rules
- When updating you should only be able to Update the Scores and Highest Runs as well as in Search select certain things, if you can edit anything else, please report to dgeneratio
- Don't go on CP (Control Panel) or War (Calc) parts of the spreadsheet as those works war and other things (don't want to know who wins right? ;) )
Many Sheets will be Hidden however in Bottom Left corner theres three lines, click that to View Hidden Sheets, or Go to View.
